The Engineers and Staff of JPDCL under the directions of Managing Director Shiv Anant Tayal carried out various mass contact programmes and worked on various deliverables which are targeted to provide better services to the public at large.
MD Shiv Anant Tayal said that the field staff has been asked to conduct load balancing and conduct periodic check ups of all the distribution transformers across villages in Jammu so as to ensure decrease in transformer damage rate. He said that it is the endeavour of the department to provide uninterrupted power to the people.
As part of the Jan Abhiyan- B2V program, the department will also ensure that people across Jammu get thier amnesty bills and avail the benefit extended to them by the LG Government. MD JPDCL also added that amnesty scheme will go a long way in helping poor people clear thier bills and all the field staff shall ensure that they reach every household as part of the Mass contact programme.
